Three generations of hands on stone.
Pompei began as a two-man fabrication shop and grew into a full-service stone company without ever outsourcing the part that matters — the craft.
Since 1997
Built slab by slab.
We started fabricating countertops out of a rented bay in 1997. Word travelled the way it does in the trades — one contractor tells another, a designer specifies you twice, a property manager keeps your number in a drawer for a decade.
Today the shop runs CNC saws and waterjet, but the last pass on every edge is still made by hand. That combination — machine precision, human judgment — is the whole philosophy. A machine can cut a perfect radius; only a person can decide where the vein should land.
Our mission is straightforward: install stone that outlives the kitchen around it, and restore stone that other companies would tell you to rip out.
We work equally with homeowners renovating one bathroom and with builders staging multi-floor commercial installs. The standard doesn't change with the invoice.

You pick the slab. Not a sample chip.
Every project starts with a walk through the yard. Stone is a natural material — two slabs from the same block can read completely differently, and a two-inch sample tells you almost nothing.

Digital laser templating, CNC cutting, book-match layout, and hand finishing in our own shop.

Installation
Protected site, tight seams, on-site cutouts, and a walkthrough before we pack up.

Care & Restoration
Sealing, maintenance guidance, and a standing invitation to call us when the stone needs refreshing.
